There was a lot of excitement here last week when I spotted one of my paintings on the W Network show Property Brothers Buying and Selling. So excited in fact that I grabbed my camera and snapped a pic right off the TV screen. There’s Jonathan and Drew with my painting ‘Grab a Taxi’ right behind them.
I’ve been a big fan of the Property Brothers since their debut with their first show back in 2011. I was contacted by the production assistant in need of original artwork to hang in Drew and Jonathan’s office for the duration of the season. I was happy to provide them with two large landscapes both of which sold not long after that first season was complete and the paintings were returned to me.
So here we are a few years later and many shows later for the brothers, my painting was just one of many provided for the shoot by Canvas Gallery. ‘Grab a Taxi’ is an original painting in acrylic on canvas. 15″x30″x2″ $800. CAD and is available for purchase at Canvas Gallery, Toronto
