The artist life! I’ve been invited to exhibit in a group show at the Consulate General of Hungary, in Toronto. Sometimes I show up as Rita Horthy-Vindededzis. It’s my heritage. My mother was pregnant with me when my family escaped to Canada during the Hungarian Revolution in 1956. I’ll be exhibiting one of my urban landscape paintings “Early Morning Taxi” This exhibit will run until mid-2022.

Last year the Hungarian Visual Artists of Canada published their second book “Our World in Colours and Forms” – 20 Years of Hungarian Visual Artists of Canada., and I was included in a lovely two-page spread. All works have been sold.
