Welcome to my new blog on my new website. It’s been a long time coming and I’m so happy to be here in my new home in my own little corner of theinterwebs. This is the place to join me for studio updates I’ll be sharing new work and bits and pieces of what’s going on in my world. If you’ve been reading my previous blog, thanks for joining me here.
If you’re a totally new visitor, please let me introduce myself. My name is Rita Vindedzis. Painting is my passion and I’ve been doing it professionally for over a decade. My paintings have been showcased numerous times in publications such as Style at Home magazine, Canadian House and Home magazine, and Chatelaine magazine, as well as on TV programs such as Cityline and Income Property. I live and work in our loft/condo in downtown Toronto where the entertainment and design districts meet. My work space may be small but it faces southwest providing me with an abundance of glorious natural light to paint by. When the weather is lovely I throw open the sliding doors to let it all in. My neighborhood is very high energy with the many restaurants, shops, creative businesses, galleries and clubs within walking distance. There is no shortage of inspiration and it’s just outside my door.
