October 23, 2023, was the opening reception for the Hungarian Visual Artists of Canada art exhibit at Toronto City Hall. Presented by the Consulate General of Hungary. The exhibit will remain in the main entrance until the end of the month and then move to the Consulate Offices until April 2024. I’m thrilled that my painting “King Street Vibe” was selected and is included in this exhibition. It fits perfectly there.
It was a fun evening speaking with the other artists and the dignitaries that were on hand for the festivities. Thank you for all the kind comments I’ve received in person and on social media. As I’ve been focused on abstract work for the past few years, it’s great to share this painting from my urban landscape series. Perhaps I need to revisit this series of urban landscape paintings again sooner rather than later.
