So Spring has finally arrived. Cheers all around. It’s been an extremely long cold winter. Good riddance!! It’s great having the studio doors open while I paint at my easel. Iggy andNami, the studio cats are happy as well as there’s plenty of bird watching again. It’s been a busy few weeks and I have lots on the go. Here’s what’s been going on lately.

-I checked out the Love Art Fair preview that was happening at First Canadian Place and attended three of the art talks. My fave was hearing Tommy Smythe (one of my long time designer ‘crushes’) talk about art. It was informative and so much fun in true Tommy style. Do you follow him on Instagram?

Love Art was exciting. The show, in it’s second year in Toronto, was larger than last year and had more international galleries. It was great to see so many local galleries too.

-Weekly creative meetings with Lynn are ongoing and working well for both of us. Keeping us on track with our creative and personal goals.

-I finished 14 new paintings in various sizes and some new designs for posters.
-I started and finished a very large commission for a collector.
-I picked up 12 of my paintings that had been lent out for home staging. The house sold very quickly. See, good staging really does make a difference!
-Three new paintings were delivered to Canvas Gallery and I received a very nice mention on the Canvas Gallery new work feed (blog)
The website and blog are a work in progress and there is much for me to learn. New images have been added and I do plan on posting more frequently than before. Please check back often and feel free to email me with any questions. I really do like hearing from fans and friends.
